PRESTIGE COINS & COLLECTABLES PTY LIMITED is owned and operated by Andrew Lee and was established in February 2020 to continue the shop presence at Clayfield, Queensland that had been operated so successfully for more than 20 years by Global Coins & Banknotes until that company’s principal retired.

Andrew has, for a long time, been interested in collecting coins, stamps and other collectable items (medals, die cast cars, cigarette cards and other oddities) since he was a young child and in fact he first sold coins when he was just 11 years old.

Over the past 50 or so years Andrew has been actively involved in collecting and trading Coins, Banknotes, Tokens, War medals and other military memorabilia, Masonic (Freemasons) regalia and awards, Badges, Stamps and other philatelic items, Jewellery, Gold and Silver bullion as a private collector/trader.

Andrew is an active member of the Redcliffe Numismatic Society (meets on the 1^st Tuesday of the month)

Although new to operating from a shop front location Andrew has since May 2002 operated primarily on eBay and in this time has conducted nearly 5,500 individual and successful transactions and currently enjoys a 100% satisfaction score of more than 4,100 positive feedbacks. Now with the changing market place (ageing collector population and more frequent ‘sale’ of collection enquiries) Andrew believes it is now the right time to open a physical shop presence where his customers and potential new clients may visit to buy and sell their collections (whether just a few coins or massive accumulations).

It is Andrew’s intention to provide all customers (both buyers and sellers) with a professional and courteous service and will to try to accommodate all enquiries no matter the size or complexity.

Andrew is also very happy to visit local customers (by after-hours appointments) in the privacy of their own homes which is no doubt an appealing service especially for the elderly or house-bound.

Andrew also specialises in assisting deceased estates (including Beneficiaries, Executors and Solicitors acting for the estate) in devising the most suitable strategy to sell the estate’s assets in a controlled manner so as to ensure the maximum returns possible whether this is through purchasing entire collections or via Public Auctions or by Private Treaty arrangements.

The material you might have for sale may well be on one of our other customer’s ‘Wish List’ and in these situations a fast and profitable sale may be facilitated on your behalf.
